Antalya Havalimani Airport is located 17km (10 miles) from Antalya, the main city on Turkey’s Mediterranean coast.

Getting Downtown Antalya

Taxis serve the airport and leave from in front of the terminal; passengers are advised to haggle a fare before setting off. There are no public transport options to/from the airport. Hotels and tour operators often provide a courtesy shuttle service for their customers. Private airport transfers are available for a door-to-door service from companies such as Kesit.

Peak Season:
The sun shines on Antalya more than most of the other places in the world! The best time to visit Antalya would be Spring time, after April when it starts to get warmer and does not reach to its maximum. The fall time is also great with similar weather conditions and the beaches are less crowded and tranquil in this time.

Off Season:
Winter is the rainiest season, it is possible to experience quite heavy rains which might continue a couple of weeks. But on the plus side even the coldest time of winters can be considered warm compared to most of the places in world that does not have a tropical climate or so.
